WEEKLY WORD AGENDA
We are convinced that Praying and Confessing the Word of God is the key to answered prayer. We have listed a targeted area for every day of the week and encourage you to pray and confess the Word for yourselves and others.
SALVATION SUNDAYS
Salvation: deliverance from the power and penalty of sin. All have sinned and come short of God’s standard, but His Son Jesus paid the price for sin.
-
John 3:16-17 16For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
-
Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
-
1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst.
MARRIAGE MONDAYS
Marriage: the legal union between a man and a woman.
-
Genesis 2:24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
-
Genesis 2:18 The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
-
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
-
Ephesians 5: 21-33 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-- 30 for we are members of his body. 31 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." 32 This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
